Google I/O has ended and many great products were announced in an answer to Apple's launches at WWDC. Here are 5 great products launched at Google I/O :
Nexus Q:
The first social streaming media player , Nexus Q streams your favorite entertainment directly from the cloud to your living room . You can use it to stream movies , music and Youtube videos to your Android smartphone or tablet . It is priced at 299 $ .
Nexus 7:
The first tablet with Android Jelly bean , trust me this is the most classy 200 $ tablet , comes with a 7 inch HD screen and a battery life of 10 hours . This tablet is competing with Amazon's Kindle Fire and to be launched iPad Mini .
Offline Google Docs:
While we were already able to access our docs without an internet connection , we can now also edit them on the go . Google announced that offline editing feature is coming soon to spreadsheets and presentations.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean:
Google's take on recent launch of iOS 6 . Android Jelly Bean includes a much smoother UI experience , offline voice dictation , offline maps and Google Now . Right now it is available only on Nexus 7 .
Chromebooks:
The Chromebook is an ultraportable notebook running ChromeOS . Earlier this was available only online but now Google is selling it at brick and mortar stores . It's fast , portable and comes with a full built in cloud support . Chromebooks start at 299 $ .
