If you can't buy it , open source it

In our lives , we face a situation where the software we need are priced much higher than we can actually pay . Then we start looking for  their cracks or illegal downloads but instead we can try some open source alternatives to them , like I tried Amaya , its  a software like Adobe Dreamweaver to create websites but its free and offers compatible features. So after researching on internet i found out some cool open source alternatives to paid ones.

Blender:Alternative to Maya , 3DS Max.

Blender is a 3D modelling and animation suite comparable to the mighty Maya, boasting extensive features that will see even the most demanding designer sigh with satisfaction. It can be used for shading, water simulation, rigging, texturing; the list is endless but amounts to it offering limitless potential in skilled hands and being comparable – if not surpassing – its competitors in the closed source market.

Gimp:Alternative to Adobe Photoshop.

Inkscape:Alternative to Adobe Illustrator.

An Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format.

Inkscape supports many advanced SVG features (markers, clones, alpha blending, etc.) and great care is taken in designing a streamlined interface. It is very easy to edit nodes, perform complex path operations, trace bitmaps and much more. We also aim to maintain a thriving user and developer community by using open, community-oriented development.

Open Office:Alternative to Microsoft PowerPoint , Apple Keynote.

Abiword:Alternative to Microsoft Word.

PeaZip:Alternative to WinZip and WinRAR.
